The RAC course is an essential one-day simulation program for Anaesthetists, Anaesthetic Trainees, and GP Anaesthetists, Anaesthetic Technicians, and Theatre Nurses who want to sharpen their skills in managing time-critical anaesthetic emergencies.
Through interactive discussions, practical workshops, and immersive simulation scenarios, participants will refine their responses to high-stakes situations and improve team coordination under pressure.
This course qualifies for ANZCA Emergency Response CPD points for Cardiac Arrest, CICO, and Major Haemorrhage.
Topics include:
– Critical hypoxia
– CICO (Can’t Intubate, Can’t Oxygenate)
– Hypotension in complex cases
– Managing arrhythmias
