Suturing Workshops

The 2 hour Suturing Workshop provides fundamental skills and knowledge of wound closure through interactive demonstrations and hands-on training. This workshop is designed for clinicians in EDs, primary care clinics, and rural/remote areas.

Topics include:

– Wound assessment
– Suturing styles (simple interrupted, vertical and horizontal mattress sutures)
– Local anaesthetic administration
– Post procedure patient education
– Skin stapling
– Aseptic technique principles
