This one-day course focuses on the management of critical toxicology emergencies encountered in both rural and urban settings. Through a combination of tutorials and multi-disciplinary simulation scenarios, participants will develop confidence in managing complex toxicological cases.
While primarily adult-focused, the course is also relevant for health professionals involved in the care of adolescents presenting with self-poisoning.
Faculty
The course is led by Clinical Toxicologists and Emergency Physicians who work closely with the WA Poisons Information Centre and are authors of the Toxicology Handbook.
