The SCGH Simulation centre has two high fidelity simulation suites. The suites have been used previously as an Operating Theatre, Emergency Department Trauma Bay, Intensive Care Unit and regular ward space.
The Simulation Centre owns two Aestiva anaesthesia machines and an operating table for theatre scenarios.
The suites also have functioning wall oxygen and suction outlets, thereby providing increased fidelity with functioning ventilators, oxygen delivery devices and anaesthesia machines.
