The Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Simulation Centre offers flexible room hire options for healthcare education and training. Individual rooms can be booked for smaller sessions, or the entire centre can be hired for large-scale courses. Catering services are available upon request.

  • Two High-Fidelity Simulation Suites
    Previously configured as an Operating Theatre, Emergency Department Trauma Bay, Intensive Care Unit, and ward space. Equipped with:

    • Anaesthesia machines
    • Operating table for theatre scenarios
    • Functioning wall oxygen and suction outlets
    • Ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, and anaesthesia machines
      Perfect for realistic simulation scenarios and full-day courses with multiple streams.
  • Two Multi-Purpose Training Rooms
    Ideal for clinical skills training, surgical skills, student assessments, and part-task training. These rooms can also be converted for scenario-based learning using:

    • SimMan ALS manikins
    • Patient monitor systems
    • SimPad technology
      Supporting medium-fidelity simulation for team-based learning.
  • Lecture Room
    Seats up to 50 participants in lecture-style format. Features:

    • Streaming and recording capabilities
    • MS Teams and teleconferencing compatibility
    • Interactive electronic whiteboard
    • Cameras and microphones for hybrid sessions
    • Dual display screens for simultaneous content
  • Two Debriefing Rooms
    Seating 6–8 participants, perfect for facilitator meetings, participant debriefing, or OSCE-style clinical exams. Equipped with audio-visual technology for:

    • Live streaming from simulation suites
    • Video playback for reflective learning
